The Tumblebook Library database is an online collection of animated, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, National Geographic videos, non-fiction books, and playlists, as well as books in Spanish and French. It is geared mainly toward younger readers, but there in content on the site that is appropriate all the way to 5th grade.

EPIC is a digital library for children, with more than 40,000 high-quality books for kids. The site also has learning videos, reading quizzes, and more.
Students can access EPIC through their ClassLink page. Students can access SORA through ClassLink, then clicking on the Library Resources folder. Most students have been taught how to access this awesome collection of eBooks and audiobooks, but I am including a helpful video here for parents of those students who haven't had a chance to explore SORA yet.
Destiny is the library circulation system used by all of the libraries in KUSD. Here at Grant, we are slowly building up our own eBook library and have been purchasing some eBooks.
Students in grades 2-5 have been taught how to use Destiny Discover this year to search for books and place them on hold. They have also been taught how to access and check out eBooks t from Destiny to read. |
